“Russ was very transparent from the very beginning, he diagnosed the problem in less than 5 minutes and reassured me that the work would be done by midday the next day. As promised he finished the work on time and added a few nuts and bolts that I was missing free of charge!! I will forever recommend my friend Russ at Dave's Radiator Repair!!”

“I brought my 2008 Dodge Dakota in because I was having some problems with it overheating. I brought it in about 11am and Russ had replaced the radiator by 4pm. They were very fast but more importantly to me, Russ was straightforward and honest. He walked me through what he had done and told me of some things to look out for. I will definitely be back and would recommend this shop to anyone!”

“The radiator of my 2005 Infiniti cracked and needed replacing so I called around looking for estimates. Dave's estimate was the most reasonable and seemed like a good guy so I decided to come to his shop. He and his son Russ were very friendly and knowledgeable, Russ worked on my car. I dropped my car off around 9 AM and it was finished around lunchtime. I paid 375 total for complete radiator replacement, including parts, fluid, labor, etc.. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for radiator replacement or repair, honest and skilled family mechanic business here.”

We discovered that the fan also needed replacement, and he was thoughtful enough to call the local parts store as well as several dealerships to locate the best price. “I worked in the shop next to Dave's for about two years it was a auto body shop back then it's now a plumbing supply store. We always had them doing radiator repairs for our shop. They are honest hard working and very knowledgeable. Plus they are fun to shot the breeze with. I still take all my radiator repairs to them and it's been 15 years since I work next door.”

“These are the kind of guys you want to work with! Russ came out and found the only repair needed on my leaky radiator was to tighten up the hose clamp. He topped it off with fluid and explained to me what to watch/look for in case there was another issue, then recommended me to another local shop that he said would be fair and honest too.

I offered to pay him, but he refused saying it only took him a few minutes. FIVE STARS!!

(ps: before I came in I called and explained what I thought the problem might be. He gave me an estimate and had the most competitive rate I could find. In the end, I was wrong (the repair was simpler than I thought) and the five minute repair was free).”

“My mom and I were traveling from Salt Lake to Emery County Utah when her car began to overheat. We stopped several places before stopping at Dave's radiator repair. Dave himself stopped everything he was doing and checked our vehicle. He advised it didn't look like a radiator problem and told us what he thought the problem was. He then cooled our engine with water and loaded our backseat with additional containers full of water to ensure we had a safe trip. He refused any money. We were there for almost an hour and of course without an appointment. My mom and I know nothing about vehicles. He could have told us we needed a new radiator and charged us top dollar, we wouldn't have known the difference. I cannot express how grateful we are. Dave is honest and down to earth - knows what he is doing! I highly recommend him!!!”

“My radiator on my 4-wheeler sprung a leak and it was going to be $250 for a new one. After looking online and calling around I found Dave's radiator repair and I'm glad I did! They not only fixed the radiator quickly (same day), but they put a protective coating on it so the alkaline in the dirt here in Utah wouldn't rust it! These guys are great and very friendly. I wouldn't go anywhere else if you need radiator work done.”

“We are from Arizona and had a broken radiator while in Provo. Dave's was recommended by a person at a parts store and we showed up on their door step at 8:00 am the next morning. Russ the current owner said he could have it fixed by early afternoon. Dave, his father and original owner, returned us to BYU campus and then later picked us up, even though we indicated we could call a cab. They treated us like family! It is wonderful to have people like them to help when you are in trouble. Thanks to Dave and Russ.”

“Dave is a honest, friendly, good guy who knows his radiators. Took my car in at 9 the morning for a diagnostic, got it a call to pick it up at 1 p.m. the same day. Only $60/hour labor, plus a $150 radiator, so the entire price for a brand new car radiator was $266! A lot cheaper than I was expecting. I would recommend this place to anyone for a radiator replacement/repair.”

“I have been to Dave's a few times now and have felt like he knows his stuff. He pressurized my system to look for leaks and couldn't find any. He topped off my fluid and didn't charge me anything for it.

I can say he isn't a money-hungry mechanic like many of the mechanics I have been to around Provo. Overall, I had a very positive experience at this shop.”
